DCI ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF ITS COMPLIANCE TEST PLAN FOR DIGITAL CINEMA VALIDATION AND COMPLIANCE TESTINGHollywood, California-Oct 17, 2007 - Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC (DCI) announced today the completion and availability of the DCI Compliance Test Plan (CTP). Six months ago, DCI engaged CineCert LLC to finalize the CTP, which includes validated test procedures for the DCI Specification, version 1.1, including all referenced SMPTE standards. DCI ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF OVERALL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR DIGITAL CINEMA;
MEMBER STUDIOS UNANIMOUSLY AGREE TO EXTENDED TERM
- Hollywood, CA (September 8, 2004) – Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC (DCI) announced today
the completion of the overall system requirements and specifications for digital cinema with the
upcoming release of Version 5.0 of the voluntary DCI Technical Specification. The document
will be available on September 30, 2004, which coincides with the end of DCI’s Initial Term.
DCI Member studios also unanimously agreed to an extended term of twelve months in order to
refine the technical specification and architecture, to enhance the security aspect of the
specification, to perform system interoperability tests, and to support formalization of industry
standards.

ASC And DCI Creating Digital Cinema Test Film
- LOS ANGELES, (September 24, 2003) - The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) and Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) have taken an important step towards producing standardized test material for evaluating the performance of digital projectors and other elements of digital cinema systems. The test is being produced under the auspices of the ASC Technology Committee in partnership with DCI, which represents seven Hollywood film studios.

Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC (DCI) was created in March, 2002, and is a joint venture of Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios. The purpose of DCI is to establish and document specifications for an open architecture for Digital Cinema components that ensures a uniform and high level of technical performance, reliability and quality control.
